Though known for her tremendous skill in golf, Babe Didrikson Zaharias excelled in every sport. She won three Olympic medals in track and field. Babe was a true pioneer, making golf "her sport". She helped found the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), which still enables women to play and compete today. She also confronted cancer with grace and spoke out about it encouraging others to fight and to get check-ups to prevent cancer or catch it early.
Babe is accompanied by a harmonica (her musical instrument of choice) and her biography. The book is suitable for readers 8 and up. It is 128 pages with black and white photos.
